FINE FRAMED PORTRAIT PAINTING ON IVORY

Description:	This is a beautiful late 19th to early 20th century ivory portrait painting. It is an elegant lady with very fine details and gorgeous pastel coloring. The frame is made from ivory piano keys with shell inlay. She is cased in glass with an ornate brass frame. The back is covered with paper and I believe she is French in origin. The back was opened in the past to verify the ivory, you can also see the grain with a loupe.
Measurements:	The frame measures 4.5 inches by 5.25 inches.

Condition:	The frame is in very good condition with only a few little hairlines in the old ivory which was made from Victorian piano keys. The portrait is in pristine condition with no hairlines or water damage.
