Description:
This wonderful brooch is done in brilliant blue, green, yellow and white basse-taille style enamel. It has a nice flowing look with two iris' in a fleur-de-lis-esque pattern.

Condition:
Fair condition, the tips of both flowers show enamel loss, and there is another small chip and one baked in hole. Open c clasp and pin are both in excellent working order.

Marks / Inscriptions:
Sterling and a makers mark with the letter S under a crescent, or a sideways letter C, most likely an incomplete mark for the Shepard Company (see pic below).
